However, in my experience installing the latest openjdk ( brew install openjdk - make sure its added to PATH) and following the non-Homebrew installation instructions from works fine. (The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. The Homebrew formula depends on openjdk8, which isnt available for M1 macs. Heimdall-suite requires a kernel extension to work. It fails trying to install the Cask section. Installing failed Hi there, I am trying to install Heimdall suite using brew.
